A laparoscopic telescope, also known as a laparoscope, is a thin, lighted tube with a camera used during laparoscopic surgery to visualize the abdominal cavity. It allows surgeons to see inside the abdomen without a large incision, enabling them to perform procedures with minimal invasiveness. 
How it's used:
Visualization:
The telescope is inserted into the abdominal cavity through a small incision, allowing the surgeon to see the internal organs and structures on a monitor. 
Surgery:
The telescope is used in conjunction with other instruments to perform various surgical procedures, such as gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy), hernia repair, and appendectomy. 
Diagnosis:
Laparoscopy can also be used for diagnostic purposes, such as identifying endometriosis or other conditions. 
Types of Laparoscopic Telescopes:
Rigid:
These are the most common type, providing a clear and magnified view of the abdominal cavity. 
Flexible:
These are used in more complex procedures and can be bent and rotated to access different areas of the abdomen. 
Different viewing angles:
Laparoscopes come in various viewing angles, including 0, 30, and 45, each offering a different perspective.
